Pitch, Free: Volume VIII
Sources needed: Psychologists, behavioral therapists, someone who lives in a 'mommune,' + expert on tradwives
January was tough, I’m sure we can all agree. There were HELLA layoffs and the journalism community is feeling rocked right now (to say the least).
I myself have been working on a lot personally. There’s nothing like a therapist who actually knows what she’s doing and a handy-dandy journal—I’ve always used Silk + Sonder self-care journals—to really upend everything you ever thought about your life.
Pitches, I digress. Needless to say, I’m counting down the days to my Bahama cruise with Royal Caribbean x Toy Boat later in the month.
You know I love an opportunity to work on a beach with a cocktail in my hand.
One last thing I want to put on your radar is a charming little salon called Regarding Oysters. If you are in the immediate NYC area (or are traveling here soon), I highly recommend booking for a party of two. My husband and I experienced it last weekend and it was something right out of an aesthetic dream.
Georgette, who wrote Regarding Cocktails, is an extremely wonderful person, an incredible host, and owns the Murray Hill apartment of my dreams—from the grandfathered-in fireplace right down to her vintage glassware collection.
And now, onto it…
