It’s Pitch, Free—the free Friday post for Pitch, Please subscribers.
This pitch just got a brand spankin’ new MacBook Pro and I gotta tell you, I didn’t realize how horrific life was with my 2015 Mac Air that was still holding on for dear life. The speed with which I can now type, open tabs, download/upload, and even work in CMS… Just call me Jasmine because this is a whole new world.
And… it has Touch ID and a touch screen bar!
This is 2022, baby. This is Jetsons shit.
Anyways, I am once again writing Pitch, Please from the comfort of the Delta Sky Lounge in an airport; this time, it’s Orlando International.
And that’s because I’ve been on assignment in the Bahamas. My main Bahamian takeaway is that I strongly recommend everyone travels somewhere warm in early December (most especially if you live somewhere as freezing as New York).
The Christmas music / poolside juxtaposition is everything to me.
You can still win my $10 Starbucks gift card giveaway. Just reply to this email letting me know that you shared this with a colleague or friend. And once your girl hits 1,000 (we’re so close!!!!), one of ya’ll is getting a $20 Starbucks gift card, picked at random.
Anyways, the main goal of today is to share a few emergency articles in need of last-minute, quick-turn-around sources. More on that below…
By now, pitches know to sign up for the Gift Guide Gold Course. Designed by Dana Baardsen—AKA the affiliate queen—this course is more detailed than any other I’ve seen and I’m not just gassing it up. If you want a comprehensive PR course that’s actually worth it, this is one to sign up for. Use code ‘gold’ for 30% off, pitches!
What Paying Pitches Got This Week
Nothing! Paying pitches got squat this week. Your girl was on the beach drinking Coco Locos and touring the largest cruise ship in the world, so all you free pitches didn’t miss a damn thing.
That being said, if you need to catch up, check out my opinions Impact Radius, a how-to on pitching experts, and the benefits of using Press Hook.
Quick-turnaround assignments:
As always, products with affiliate links will be given precedence if applicable.
